This Trentino Bouldering Guidebook describes a wide range of bouldering from the Sarca valley to the heart of the Dolomites, covering 1,000’s of boulder problems. The guidebook covers a wide area, and this is reflected in the different type of rock that is found; it ranges from limestone and sandstone, to granite and gneiss.
All the problems are shown on colour photo topos, as well as comprehensive boulder maps. For each area there is a location map, approach information, and a QR code for the parking areas. Symbols then indicate the altitude, best time of the year to boulder, overall beauty, how good the parking is, total number of problems, and the number of drying days required after rain. Other symbols indicate if a problem has a bad or dangerous landing, along with a graph showing the total number of problems at each grade.
The guidebook covers 45 crags in 8 main areas. These 8 areas are Arco and the Sarca Valley, Rovereto, Trento, Cembra Valley, Sugana Valley, Fiemme Valley, Pejo Valley, and Genova Valley.
